- To promote economic empowerment through mixed farming, including crop and animal husbandry and fish farming.
- To provide integrated hospitality services combining accommodation, transport and eco-tourism.
- To promote social and economic empowerment of vulnerable communities through charity services that promote sustainable livelihoods.

FARMING
Amicus’ farming activities are mixed, combining crop and animal husbandry and fish farming. Based in Kikyusa Luwero District, the Amicus Mixed Farm engages in goat raring as the primary activities. This is complemented by crop and fish farming.
The most unique aspect of the farm is the Amicus Goat Scheme. The Scheme allows members of the public to invest in goat raring using Amicus’s land, facilities and expertise. Interested persons buy and have goats reared for them by the farm until they are ready to start farms of their own. The cyclic nature of Amicus positions the farm to provide food to the hotel as well as provide food supplies for sale.

HOSPITALITY
Amicus’s hospitality is in the business and hotels and accommodation, with the Company’s flagship project being the Amicus Hotel on the Northern Bypass, Kira Municipality. The hotel boasts of first-class facilities providing both accommodation and restaurant services. The company’s aspiration is to develop a local chain that supports eco-tourism, focusing mainly on delivering an experience of rural livelihoods while offering safe and comfortable services in rural settings.

TRANSPORT
The Amicus transport services provide car rental services through car hire. The Company provides luxury vehicles for leisure and business drives. The car rental services support and get clients from the hospitality services. The services also support and promote eco-tourism, especially between the hotel and the farm.

ECO-TOURISM
The Amicus Eco-tourism project is unique. It is intended to provide an experience of rural livelihoods in Uganda, especially farming. The Company is positioning its mixed farm to be the flagship site for this form of tourism. The hotel services will support and be supported by this activity, targeting both foreigners and Ugandans.

AMICUS EMAJOWA FOUNDATION
The AMICUS EMAJOWA Foundation is the charity arm of Amicus Consortium. Amicus believes that integrated growth cannot leave out vulnerable members of the community. Wholesome development and welfare are good for creating a conducive business environment and enables sustainable business. It is based on this that Amicus invests part of its resources in promoting development and empowerment for some of the most vulnerable. This is delivered through the Amicus Women Economic Empowerment Programme (AWOEPRO) and the Amicus Teenz Club (ATENC).
